Disadvantages of explosive welding

(1) The metal material to be welded must have enough toughness and impact resistance to withstand the violent impact of explosive force;

(2) Explosion welding produces metal spray, which is only used for plane and cylindrical welding, and is not suitable for complex structure welding;

(3) Low degree of mechanization and poor working conditions for outdoor operation;

(4) Generate noise and air waves, which have an impact on the surrounding environment.
